State Armory Renovation

Orion is providing structural engineering services to the Illinois Capital Development Board and the Sangamon County Department of Human Services for the renovation of a 254,636 square foot, 7-story building established in 1937. Occurring in two phases, the existing structure will be renovated to provide more office space on the second through sixth floors, adding new flat slab concrete construction to the existing historic steel framing.
