I-490 at I-90 Interchange Construction

Construction of a system to system interchange for an all-new expressway was fast-tracked to keep up with the Move Illinois program when it was accelerated in 2018. Originally scoped with roadway support as part of a consulting team, the design manager leaned on Orion Engineers to provide structural engineering services and take on a larger role in the project.
